Movies

I have finally had a little time to watch a few movie, and I have seen some bad ones. Not only am I disappointed, but it is a waste of my time.

First movie I watched was Letters To John. I hated that movie. The ending wasn't worth the time I spent invested in the characters. I don't really like sad movies but this one just made me mad.

I then watched The Runaways. Now I love the group but not the movie. It was ok and I understand that the story needed to be told. Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fannin were good in it, but the story was choppy and it didn't stress the fact that they were important for being the only girl rock band at the time.

I then watched Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married 2. Now I have asked myself that question from time to time, but my new one is Why Did I Watch This Movie. I thought the first one was ok. This one was awful. The only couple worth rooting for was the one that was fighting all of the time and that got old fast. It was disappointing all around.

I then watched Remember Me. A very good but sad movie. Robert Pattinson was really good at times in this movie. The story was good too. It was not the greatest movie but it was watchable. I did not feel cheated with the ending.

Right now I am watching the remake of Ice Castles. I love the original. I just hope it is at least watchable.

Why

That is Fizzy's new word. Why??? That one little word demands an answer. She wants to know why to everything. It is an endless conversation to which there are no answer. I want to know why she won't stay in bed a little longer when I need 30 extra minutes of sleep. LOL. Some questions will never be answered.

What I am reading this summer

I have just started "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo". So far it is pretty engaging. I can so see Kristen Stewart playing Lisbeth.

What a day

Today Fizzy caught her first fish. I was hollering and the fish scared her so she threw her rod down and ran. I had to fish her rod out of the pond. It was too funny. Maddie shot her first snake today too. It is scary how much she liked shooting the 410.

Spring Break

Well we are now on Spring Break. I thought that meant I would get to sleep in a little bit. Finley didn't think so. She was up at 6 this morning. Well at least she will go to bed early tonight and I will get to watch the Mavs game.

Yucky day

Well today is Monday and it is rainy and cold so that fits my mood. I am just in a gloomy funk. I am tired of all the setbacks that keep showing up on our doorway. I am ready for something good to happen to us. I know "Count your blessings". I do that everyday but enough is enough. I want to know what am I being punished for and for how long am I going to be punished. Come on already.

Watching a DVD

I am sitting here with my husband watching Julie/Julia. Finding this to be a really cute movie. On the other hand, I have made Maddie mad by not telling her that we were going to watch it. Well, I am sorry I didn't tell her. I even offered to start it over for her. She didn't want me to. So she should get over being mad.
